Our founder, Dimuna Phiri has completed a course in perfumery and is currently working with an Australian aromatherapist who has over 40 years work expereince in aromatherapy to deliver the richest scent blends for Dlush Ritz home fragrance range.

Dimuna is a seasoned social legal professional with over 16 years of experience working across local, regional, and international levels in both the private and not-for-profit sectors, in Africa, Asia-Pacific, Latin America, and Australia. Through her demanding career and personal life experiences, Dimuna realizes that the pressures and stresses of life deeply affect both the body and soul. Over the years, to cope with these challenges, she often turns to a self-care routine of long bubble baths, bath bomb and bath salt treats, home fragrances like candles, diffusers and linen sprays. 

Her love for bubble baths began in childhood, a treat her mother often offered, to her and her siblings, and it has been a cherished part of her self-care routine. Her appreciation for scents and their ability to influence mood and create a relaxed atmosphere also has roots in her early years, when her mother used perfume-scented powders to enhance the freshness of clean linen. 

Dimuna recognizes the importance of finding moments of calm and self-care amidst the chaos of daily life. This insight inspired her to create more than just products; she wants to offer an experience to customers, a ritual that could turn ordinary moments into something special.

She has conceived a range of bath and home fragrance products designed to soothe the mind and body. Each product is thoughtfully crafted to bring peace and well-being into everyday life.

This vision has evolved into Dlush Ritz, a brand that represents more than luxury or indulgence. It’s about creating moments of mindfulness and joy, even during life’s most overwhelming times. Dlush Ritz products serve as a gentle reminder to slow down, nurture self, and find beauty in the small rituals that bring comfort and happiness. 

From Dimuna’s life pressures and challenges and how she has been able to navigate through them, came the inspiration to build a brand focused on enhancing the well-being of others.
